Reliant Regal
Slocombe's of Neasden ad from The Motorcycle, June 30th 1955.
Being a sidecar pilot I have a soft spot for 3-wheelers but I never thought I'd find myself lusting after a Reliant, until now.
Slocombe's appear to still exist but, judging by the text on their website, they are now run by a small child to whom English is a mystery.

Penberthy's
Cover of Penberthy's of Oxford Street 1956 catalogue. Sadly, 388 Oxford Street is now a hideous edifice housing Jane Norman.

Happy Housewifery
Sitting down to do the ironing? That's just lazy.
